~Simply Irresistable Mastiff's~

Growing up, we always had little terriers and smaller dogs. I loved the big breeds, and wanted nothing more than to have the biggest dog possible. I was first introduced to a Mastiff at a friends house and instantly fell in love with the breed. However, my mom would not allow us to get one. So naturally when me and my husband moved to the country I was determined to get one. We found Neo at that time. He was a beautiful dark brindle. While he is a little smaller than most male Mastiff's, his heart is a big as the universe! We just got him as a pet with no intensions of breeding. But after having him around for a short time, we quickly realized just how much we love this wonderful breed! Due to his size however, we do not use him in the breeding of English Mastiffs, but he is the founding sire in the Hybrid breed (Mastibull).

 A year later, I decided that I had to have another. This was when I got Cadie. She came to us on valentines day. She is a gorgous dark apricot. Cadie is just a little on the short side, but makes up for it in her muscle. We call her Cadie Bug most of the time because of her obsession with bugs. I'm not sure what it is, but she always manages to find a bug to play with.

 A year after that, Alley came to us. She is a very nice example of the breed! She is still growning, but shows a ton of promise! Alley is starting to fill out very nicely, I can't wait to see what she looks like once fully filled out. She, like every other Mastiff I have ever met, is extreemly loving and loyal.

We just love these guys so much that we decided to add more to our family! We recently got two more females. They are just pups now, and will be in the show ring very shortly. We are expecting big things out of these guys, and if all goes well, they will give us some beautiful babies! You can read more about them on our "new additions" page.

Here at Simply Irresistible Mastiff's we breed our Mastiff's to be sound, loving pets or show dogs. We strive in breeding good blood lines and good examples of the breed. We take a lot of time into ensureing that we breed a proper, quality Mastiff. Some of our dogs are in the show rings, and some of the pups we have breed are in the show rings as well. There are also many that are happy pets with loving owners. Everyone that I have ever sold a puppy to has been over joyed with him or her. All our dogs and puppies are very healthy and are excellent examples of everything that the breed is supposed to be. All of our litters are raised in the house and are handled daily. They come pre-spoiled free of charge! We require just a few things of the people who would wish to purchase one of our pups. We like to make sure that the babies go to homes where they can spend the rest of their lives. First of all, we make sure that the prospective buyers realize just how big the dogs can get. You wouldn't believe how many people get a Mastiff, only go get rid of it when it "gets too big". Secondly, we require that you will give your pup a loving and forever home. If for some reason, you find yourself in the position that you cannot keep your baby, we ask that you contact us so that we can assist you in finding a good home for the dog. And lastly, we make sure that we are always here for the buyer FOR THE LIFE OF THE DOG. We also offer a health gaurentee against any congenital life threatening diseases. In the unfortanant even that this happens, we offer a replacement for the infected puppy. In the four years that we have been breeding, we have never had this problem.

 We have also never had a problem with any of our dogs contracting hip displacia. We credit that to many things. First of all, we feed our dogs quality food, and make sure that they have a quality life. Second, we do not breed our dogs just for size alone. We make sure we have a well rounded breeding standard, striving for health, temperment, and in accordance and often above the breed requirements. We also keep our dogs active. They run around the yard, do obedience, weight pulling, and some agility. It is very imortant to keep your mastiff active, but dont over do it. Start with small amounts of time and gradually build it up. Socialization is also a very import part of a Mastiff's life, as with any breed. Our dogs are out and about.
