~ Sarge ~

The current man of the house around here is Sarge. He's one of the best dogs I have ever had the pleasure of being around. His monster head greets anyone with a smile and some slobbers! Never met a stranger, and very social! Sarge is a huge boy weighing in at 205 lbs at just 20 months old, and standing at least 33 inches tall, and he's still got about another year to grow! This guy has a great pedigree backing his good looks. He is champion sired by CH Coopers Big Bad Black Jack, who's daddy and grandpa's were all champions as well, and many, many more before that. Black Jack obtained his championship at only 16 months of age, and after only 7 shows. We are sure that Sarge will follow in his daddy's paw prints. Unfortunatly, we have not had the opurtunity to show Sarge as much as I had hoped, but he did very well in his limited amount of shows already. And with a pedigree like he has, success is in his future. This huge guy is a joy to be around, and we cannot wait to see what great things he does in the future. Look for Sarge in the show ring next summer. And as always, we will keep the website updated with his winnings.

Our pride and joy is growing up! He is now a year and a half. Sarge last weighed in at about 189 lbs, around 33 inches at the shoulder, and seems like he gains pounds every day. We are being very careful with him due to his size. With this large breed, and due to the quick rate that they grow, it is very important not to push their bodies too hard. So Sarge is living it up, playing in the yard with the other dogs and just being a pup. We recently started making the guy work and earn a living. He has been doing great in the show ring, and has already given us a few absolutly beautiful pups! Above is a picture of him and my son, which by the way, is no little guy himself!

Above is Sarge and I doing a lil jig in the yard. I am not a short person, about 5'9 and if I had the strength to hold Sage up, I'm sure he could look over my head!

As you can see above, Sarge loves kids! He don't mind much of anything as long as he's getting attention! Great temperment!
